As you will be aware, we have seen an increase in cases of Covid-19 within the school. This has led
to some classes returning to bubbles. Despite national restrictions being lifted from tomorrow, St
Peter’s will still be operating against our current risk assessment.

Unfortunately, we now have a number of staff who have tested positive for Covid and therefore
isolating. We want to avoid a situation where we do not have enough staff members to keep classes
open. We have therefore decided to suspend after-school clubs until after half term. This will start
with immediate effect so no clubs will operate from today. Please contact the school office if this
will cause you a problem today (I am aware that this is short notice).

Externally led clubs (rascals and astronomy club) can still go ahead as these are run by external
companies (unless the class has been placed into a bubble).

I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that this causes, however we need to do all that we can
to ensure that the school can stay open and children can continue to come to school.
